Although you can use any borlotti bean for making 'Pasta e Fagioli', The bean to use is Lamon from Belluno in the Veneto region of Italy. Variegated bean, pinkish red splodges on white. High iron and fibre content.

    Sowed these las month to put in containers on the patio. Every seed came up healthy and strong, planted the out last week they really are looking good already in their containers. Looking forward to having a good harvest end of summer. These are superb.

    A fantastic bean - truly the best borlotti you can grow! It grows well in the UK climate giving you a large crop in late summer.
