Dispatch costs
Our postage costs are calculated on weight, size and packaging, so the postage is proportional:
£1.50 for 1 or 2 seed packets only (only available by phone - 020 8427 5020)
£2.99 is for seed packets and £5.99 is for non-seed items or mixed orders.
Shipping
We can ship only within the UK at the moment. Orders are usually dispatched within a few working days by 2nd class post or PF48 hour courier if larger. Any varieties out of stock at the time of ordering will follow later when back in stock. We are currently facing considerable delays and shortages thanks to Brexit.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Returns
If you've changed your mind no problem - we will accept any seed packet back in perfect re-saleable condition. We will not accept fresh items back (fresh sausages, salami etc) cosmetics or perfumes, but other items sent back in perfect condition and unopened are fine. All items returned should be posted at the sender expense for a full refund of the product within 14 days, but please Contact Us in advance to let us know you are sending something back or pop a note in with the product so we know who to refund! Please keep products to be returned safely in a cool dry environment so that the packaging does not deteriorate. Any offers or promotions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Seeds of Italy reserve the right to exclude certain products from offers and promotions (ie pizza ovens for example). Price may change due to adverse market conditions, errors and exceptions omitted. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
