L24 -This is an early variety that produces plants of medium dimentions with semi-open upright head with many leaves. The leaves are long, tight and serrated, with mild crunchy ribs.
This lettuce can also be eaten cooked liked Radicchio.

this is a real favourite but i have had poor germination from this lot.I note its the same date as the older seed i had from last year.At first i put the poor results down to mice,but Real Seed company lettuces did really well inthe same modules .I am trying one more tray before i give up in despair.It has been a best seller in our salads .I have not yet sown the other chicories as they are for june /july sowing for winter crops.

my very most favourite salad,but the newest seeds have not come up, which could be a wood mouse problem .It is productive, delicious and keeps going all through winter in the polytunnel. I am addicted to this crunchy salad.
