I love this lettuce and have been growing it for years I've never seen it on any other seed lists, but I buy Italian seeds only from Franci Its a great lettuce for all sorts of reasons Doesn't get too badly attacked by pests. Grows lovely big crunchy oak-leaf shaped leaves. They taste delicious with a good distinctive flavour - I describe them as 'meaty'. They stand well until the first frosts. And there's loads of seeds to start planting again in spring. A brilliant plant!
