For the first time we have Fontal cheese which is a often compared to Fontina from Aosta, but it is in fact milder in flavour as it is matured for less time.
Ideal to use in mountain dishes found often in the Alps like cheese fondu as part of a mix of cheese, fonduta, with polenta and other alpine dishes. Made with fresh cows milk it has a nutty flavour and is semi hard. Eaten rind removed, melted in a toastie, its a great all rounder. Sent without ice block unless the weather is hot, then just refridgerate it when it arrives. Cut by hand so weight will vary min 220g+
