To say our new store is cool is an understatement. Walk in past our 1968 Fiat 500F which we use for garden centre promotions and into the store which is based around a Roman Villa facade, complete with display grade Roman armour, 90 year old Italian accordions next to an Alpine Italian house, quirky with good quality! Not many Italian stores can boast Sicilian Oregano branches from Corleone, Montalbano Olive oil AND a Fiat 500.....(if she's not out visiting an outlet of course).

We've always promoted local varieties produced locally as a seed company and we've carried that philosophy on to our provisions and ingredients. We are proud of our Italian roots but we are passionate about all authentic regional food, on cooking and preserving too. Franchi seeds are the only seed company in the UK approved by the Vegetarian Soc. and Slow Food UK and you'll see us equally at garden shows like RHS Chelsea & Hampton Court to food and lifestyle events. We work with chefs, the Chelsea Fringe, RHS, Riverford Organics, the Eden Project and Waitrose Leckford Estate, Duchy of Cornwall Estate and the most prestigious garden centres and food outlets across the country.

We are pleased to announce the first Franchi Seeds Seed and Provisions Store to open in London operated and run by Franchi seeds of Italy. It will feature Italian artisan regional products from Seed to Plate, many imported directly and unique to SOI from our Montalbano Olive Oil and Roman Pine Nuts to our Sicilian Black ChickPeas and Calabrian Citrus Jams, complimented by Italian essentials from Carnevale like buffalo mozzarelle as well as some iconic brands. We’ll also have Bormioli 4 stagioni preserving jars from Parma, Rigamonti preserving equipment from Lecco including Passata machines and Tuscan jam kits, a display of our pizza ovens and a 'profumeria Toscana', a Tuscan Perfume Emporium. Not a deli, unique.

With over 800 varieties of Franchi Vegetable, Organic, Flower, Herbs, Onion and Garlic bulbs, many regional, this will be the first dedicated Seed Store to open in a generation. We welcome customers who’d like to come - take your time looking around, get advice and stock up.

Supper Clubs & Popup Restaurants are the huge trend of the moment in railway carriages, tunnels, peoples homes etc and with our wood-fired Seeds of Italy wood burning ovens made in Tuscany, we’ll be launching during June our first Pizza Supper Clubs for up to 40 people in our characteristic London Warehouse near to Harrow & Wealdstone tube. The best ingredients go on an authentic Neapolitan pizza and you will get Italian quality pizze made to your taste, some with authentic Franchi grown ingredients!
