Really lovely greens
I am trying almost all the varieties of cima that Franchi sells. Cima cooks quickly and I love the slightly bitter flavour. This is a really nice, quick growing leafy variety. I sowed it in modules in mid-August and planted out at the end of August under fleece to keep insects off. It was ready to harvest by late September and is delicious just lightly steamed with a little salt.
