Amaro Averna is named after its inventer Salvatore Averna who came up with the recipe in 1868 in Caltanissetta, Sicily where it is still produced and is a tradition of the island.

Amaro Averna is an excellent 'Amaro' or digestif liqueur with full body and smooth taste and it can be enjoyed any time day or night, especially after meals straight, with ice or even frozen.

It is produced using a family recipe of herbs which has been passed down from one generation to another since 1868. Alcohol 29%
