Nanni’ Panforte is renowned worldwide for its genuine flavour made with only highest quality ingredients and without any preservatives. Candied fruits are cooked in a pot and then almonds and spices are added by hand to maintain its aroma, flavour and all the qualities that make this age-old dessert so irresistible. In Italy, Panforte was traditionally eaten during the Christmas festivities but today it is tasted all year. Excellent as a dessert or snack, you can enjoy it with a good glass of Vin Santo or Moscatello. Most daring people and we suggest to serve Panforte as an appetizer or starter with matured cheese. Ideal as an energy snack par excellence with 100% natural ingredients, suitable before / after any sport or physical fatigue.

This was absolutely delicious - never having tried it before I didn't know what to expect but what a delight, nutty and rich - quite solid!
