Reggiano is the good stuff, the parmesan you give your guests. Perfect for shaving or grating over pasta, bresaola, for risotto and more! Hard cheese so posted without ice block.
Reggiano is made only in the Parma region and surrounding areas DOP and only on local grass and cereals. It tends to be a little saltier and is aged a minimum of 12 months. The milk is delivered wtihin 2 hours and must not fall below 18c to obtain the right bacteria to make the cheese. Reggiano tends to have a stronger, nuttier flavour.
