Borrage is an Annual plant with fast growing leaves which are to be used fresh. You can start to use the leaves about two months after the sowing. The leaves have a taste similar to the cucumber and they can be used in salad. The edible flowers can be used frozen in ice-cubes, for decorating food, in punches and port. The dried leaves and flowers are also used in herbal teas.Use especially in a Pimms, port or fruit salad. Beautiful blue flowers. Sow in Spring and summer.
