Tosolini Grappa di Prosecco 50cl
From the maestros of Grappa distillation - Bepi Tosolini - Grappa is made from the discarded skins and pips (the must /mosto in Italian) after wine making, and then this is distilled to make this famous Eau de Vie using the Prosecco grape, otherwise known as the Glera grape. A light, markedly sweet Grappa, with notes of pear, apples and overtones of flower petals. A single-varietal Grappa made from only Prosecco grapes which are harvested in Friuli in north-eastern Italy and shows the characteristics associated with those grapes.
A fantastic digestif, this is best served at room temperature after a meal. All Bepi Tosolini grappas are made from grape pomace distilled within 48 hours of pressing for a bright, fragrant character.
Bepi Tosolini are a third generation family producer based just outside Udine in the Friuli region of Italy. At their distillery they focus on making high quality traditional Italian spirits and liqueurs using methods passed down through the generations. Distilled from the pomace of freshly pressed Friulian varietal grapes before being aged. Alcohol 40%
