Rummo mafaldine pasta no. 80 are long wide ribbons of pasta with characteristic wavy edges on both sides which make it great for holding sauces. This pasta shape was originally named in honour of Princess Mafalda of Savoy.  Try with Neapolitan ragù & ricotta, fish and seafood, cheese sauces, with a slow-braised rich ragu Bolognese, or with pan-fried wild mushrooms and cream. Mafaldine pasta is 26cm long and 1.4cm wide. Today, each packet of Rummo pasta promises eccezionale tenuta all cottura.“exceptionally firm when cooked”. Whether the pasta cooks for 5 minutes too long in the pan, or it waits in sauce for 20 minutes whilst everyone comes to the table, you will have perfect pasta every time.
