Radicchio
As ever from Franchi Seeds the service was excellent, the seeds arriving speedily by Royal Mail. A wonderful and generous packet of seeds. I sowed a tray in the polytunnel immediately and the germination rate was excellent. I have transplanted a good number outdoors and they are developing well. I shall keep a few under cover to see how they do too. Franchi Seeds never let you down.

Radicchio Palla Rosso 6 (Marzatica)
I have been growing Franchi radicchio for several years and I love the palla rossa variety that matures late and can be harvested all winter until March. HOWEVER this packet which I sowed last year and the year before seems to be a mixture of different varieties which is a big disappointment. WHY??
