Beautiful. Luxurious, almost decadent. Could eat it on toast or straight from the jar! Second time of ordering got an extra jar - don't want to run out. Gave some as a gift. The recipients will now probably remember me in their will!
A tradition of of Cremona where this whole fruit mustard originates. This Mostarda was traditionally served with 'Bollito misto' and is indeed very good with any cooked meats. Candied in mustard syrup - peaches, kiwi, clementines, pears, papaya and cherries. Eaten especially over Christmas with hot or cold meats, with the cheese board, vegetable dishes and more! 400g jar 220g net weight. Made in Verona.
Perfect with a couple of slices of quality ham or any cured meats.
