L34 - This is a french alpine lettuce from Grenoble. This is a Mid/Late variety with semi open head. The leaves are round and green with deep red borders. Really tender and crispy.
To be sown from February to September and harvest from May till the end of Nov.

Franchi seeds /Red Grenoble
After hearing everyone saying what a lovely lettuce Red Grenoble is, but hard to source, I was pleased to be able to obtain some from Franchi seeds. This is the first time that I have grown this variety. Growing in a grow tent, and still very small, but the germination % looks good, as some growers have had poor germination.

Red Grenoble lettuce
Bought and sowed for the first time this autumn. Seeds germinated well enough but growth was slow. Since planting out they have improved but are not as vigorous as I would have liked.
