These amazing olives come from Liguria and are rolled through a roller with a gap so that the stones are ejected and the olives remaine squashed. Then they are put in extra virgin olive oil from their own Ghiglione estate (you can purchase it seperately on our website)!. 180g. Top end quality. Taggiasca is a cultivar typical of Liguria’s Riviera di Ponente, that is, of the area that goes from Genoa to France. While it derives its name from the border town of Taggia, it was likely imported from France in 9th century AD by the monks of Colombanus, who had learned to appreciate it on the island of Lérins.
