Courgette genovese
Wonderful courgette variety. I planted indoors in April, they germinated within a week or two. Plant outside in late May.

Low germination rate, unfortunately. None that did germinate survived unlike my other courgettes also from Seeds of Italy. Better luck next year!

Around 80% germination rate. All plants transplanted from the greenhouse well and are now producing lots of lovely globe shaped courgettes. Don't let them grow too big. I pick mine when they're about the size of a gale melon. Great for stuffing with mince lamb, onion and garlic. Scoop the insides out from the top. This really is a nice tasting courgette. I'll be planting more next year.
