This year I had an exceptional crop using this seed, I have struggled to find seed in previous years, but now Seeds of Italy always keep this seed available. I shall be purchasing once again for 2022.

They grow very fast and get pretty big. The beans have just appeared last month and are still growing.

Looks to be a tremendous crop, plenty of bean pods forming. Dying to taste the beans when ready. Very vigorous plants with healthy looking foliage, Well pleased.

    Excellent Taste

I have been growing these beans on my allotment in the South of England for the past 4 years with 100% germination. I start them off in root trainers and then plant them out alongside canes just the same as runner beans. When the pods turn a light brown colour, I harvest them and use in soups and stews. Each bean is no smaller than a 50p piece and after soaking, increase in size. They freeze well too with no blanching needed. Any advice required by butter bean newbies, just contact Paulo for help. Absolutely love them.
