The new album London Tango takes Argentine Tango and adds a London twist. The album features 5 brand new pieces by Viazzani including 4 specially commissioned for the album, one collaboration with Barimar, two other new works, and some wonderful traditional Argentine and European tangos with a healthy dose of Piazzolla.
The line up has Romano Viazzani on accordion, Barbara Dziewiecka-Data on violin, Jonathan Preiss on guitar, John Bailey on piano and Nick Pini on double bass and two wonderful singers in the form of Joanna Strand (soprano) and Jacqui Tate (Contralto).
