Product Description

For the first time we have Taleggio cheese from Bergamo, made with fresh cows milk and then aged in the caves of Val Taleggio, made since the 10th century. It is a semi soft, washed rind local cheese which is creamy but with a strong aroma and midle tangy-savoury flavour. Eaten as it is, rind removed or melted in a toastie, its a great all rounder. Sent without ice block unless the weather is hot, then just refridgerate it when it arrives.  Cut by hand so weight will vary min 250g.
