Snow Pea - Mangetout
As the name suggests, compared with normal mangetout, these are gigantic in both plant height and pod size! Germination was excellent with almost every seed sown in root trainers germinating. When they came into flower it was a complete surprise as the blooms are a deep mauve in colour, not the usual white. High cropper (keep picking to increase the yield) of very tender succulent pods, perfect either cooked or raw in a salad.
