Due to UK 'BCP' import restrictions, UK Horticulture has struggled to bring in tomato and pepper seeds since Apr 30th 2024 and it has been extremely difficult to import the seed. It is likely these issues will continue through this season so our range is hugely reduced again this year. Despite the cost of testing and Border Control Point inspections which has meant that we have had no choice but to increase prices on any tomato and pepper seeds (all other seeds remain the same price as last year), we do have 3 Franchi varieties in branded Seeds of Italy packets at a reduced price of £1.99 which is a saving of £2 per packet, with a lower seed count. They are the San Marzano, Principe Borghese and the dwarf semi plus all-rounder Rio Grande.
