A tradition in Sicily where the new fresh unaged cheese is infused with whole black peppercorns to give the mild tangy cheese a kick. Made with pasteurized sheeps milk as tradition requires and this type of cheese goes back thousands of years to Homer it is said. Made in Trapani, Sicily. @150g or more.
Ingredients: Sheep or mixed pasteurizes sheep and cow, black pepper 2% salt, rennet lactic ferments. Allergens: MILK (including lactose) and derivatives, may contain traces of nuts.
