Oyster Mushroom, Spawn impregnated wooden dowels
Spawn plugs are small wooden dowells on which the mushrooms have impregnated. Cultivation takes place on fresh wooden logs, on which the spawn plugs are planted. The logs are incubated in a plastic bag for 6/18 months and then transferred to the garden to grow the mushrooms. Mushroom production occurs 18/24 months after sowing and will last 3-4 years. Drill holes into trees or logs and try to spray them daily to ensure the best inoculation.
