Product Description
Fresh Pepper Topepo Rosso 500g
These Topepo Rosso Peppers have smooth skin and extra thick walls, making them perfect for stuffing, salads, pickling and stir fry. The name Topepo Rosso comes from it's physical appearance, a combination of tomato and pepper. The Calabrian Topepo Pepper is a real delicacy, it is a non-spicy pepper, for me the best ever, famous in Calabria (South Italy) for the Pipi Chini, A widespread species in vegetable gardens, it requires little care and small but constant watering. The optimal growth temperature is 20-22°C, and it prefers a sunny location. A greater day-night temperature difference, within tolerance limits, increases floral induction and therefore more generous fruit production. With incredibly sweet, thick walls, these Topepo Rosso variety of Pimento-type Peppers are great raw or cooked.
