I don't know why this yeast is different to others, but I have much more successful bakes with this yeast. Easy to use. My yeast of choice.
Professional yeast for pizzaioli for bread making and 500g is about 71 of those 7g sachets you would buy from the supermarket (71 loaves of bread!). Limited stock so 1 per order allowed. Vacuum pack or tin. Once open, transfer to an airtight container.
I have used this dried yeast in a bread maker and I am very pleased with the results. The loaves have risen as much as when using my usual Easy Bake yeast. There is still a lot left which I am storing in the fridge. I am not sure how long it will remain viable, I think I opened the packet in July.
Shown in a tin but did not arrive in a tin.Couldnt buy yeast during lockdown,so choose this extremely expensive option.Consoled myself that it would last a very long time,but no! It advised using within one month.I make my bread weekly,this was a complete waste of money for me.Never Again.
It's yeast, it does its thing. A lot more convenient than those little packets. I even use it for making pizza dough! :)

This is lovely yeast, and so easy to use just the amount you need and then re-seal the tin which also has a nice old Italian look about it making me smile x
