This is a Classic tomato from the island of Krim in Crimea. It has a very dark skin and flesh and a slight tartness which makes it superb in salad.

So far a bit disappointing. Germination and early cultivation was absolutely fine but Black Crimean isn't doing too well planted on my allotment. Very few flowers, and growth is well behind Mountain Magic. Is this better grown in a polytunnel?
