We were expecting this jam to be tasting more of liquorice but it was a great combination tasting equally of clementine and liquorice. Both tastes complimenting each other
This clementine and licorice jam contains two very typical Calabrian products: clementines and licorice. Clementines are known for their goodness and richness in vitamin C. Licorice for its organoleptic qualities (digestive, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, expectorant and protective of the gastric mucosa) and for its unique flavor. Clementine and licorice jam goes deliciously with creamy cheeses, especially crescenza or stracchino. It is delicious when spread on chocolate cakes.
