A2. *Pre order for Spring* Mainland UK ONLY. Historic variety from Liguria from at least 1570 when it was described in the book ""Dell'arte del Cucinare' by Bartolomeo Scappi but it declined dangerously because on the terraces of Liguria each spear had to be staked so it was very labour intensive. Thankfully, it survived and Raggi have been reproducing it again in quantities large enough to sell. A very high quality variety, flavoursome...... plant out from Spring onward.
