Dicotyledon plant that can reaches 120cm on height. The leaves are alternate, oval shaped and light serrated at the peak.
The leaves can be cooked or pan-fried, the taste is similar to spinach but more delicate. Even the young stalks are eatable. Sow from April to July, resists heat.
