This particular rice comes from the 'Vercellese' which is the rice producing capital of Europe and is ideal for growing in a bucket, childs paddling pool or on wet or waterlogged areas. Some of the highest quality rices in the world are produced here - Arborio, Carnaroli, S.Andrea, Nembo etc. The rice can be sown as follows - take a childs paddling pool (removing the child first !!) and put 10cms of soil and add 4-5cms of water. Sow the rice into the water and it will germinate and take root and come out of the water. Maintain the water to a level of at least 1cm during the life of the rice. When mature, harvest, dry and seperate by rubbing together in your hands. 50g packet. £4.99 |
